Gaye Legacy has a pedigree full of potential and has made a very encouraging start to her career. She was second in a bumper, sixth on hurdle debut and finished in the prize money on her next three hurdle runs including a desperately close second by a nose at Warwick. She showed a good attitude in her first season and we’re hopeful of improvement and many good days to come with her.
She is from one of the most well-established jumping families. Her dam, Gaye Memories, is a dual hurdle winner and full-sister to Simon, winner of the Skybet Chase and Racing Post Chase, with a peak Official Rating of 152. Simon unseated his rider when going well in the 2008 Grand National, where he was 11/1 sixth favourite.
Gaye Legacy’s granddam, Gaye Memory, is a full-sister to Hennessy Gold Cup placed and Grade 2 winner Black Humour and a half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Gaye Brief.
Her sire Flemensfirth is one of the most successful stallions of the current era. His roll call includes Imperial Commander, Lostintranslation, Tidal Bay, Waiting Patiently, Tornado Flyer, Topofthegame and the Grand National-placed pair The Last Samuri and Magic Of Light.
CTD is syndicating 50% of Gaye Legacy on a lease basis, divided into 14 shares of 3.5%. After her racing career she will return to her owner.

Luna Dora is a progressive handicap hurdler who is campaigned through the summer months. After a slow start over hurdles she progressed well in her first season, finishing second twice, before a resounding success at Fakenham on her return to the track as a six-year-old. She jumps well and tries hard, which makes her a versatile and uncomplicated ride and she should give us lots more fun if she continues to progress as we hope.
Luna Dora is from the first crop of Pether’s Moon, a son of Arc winner Dylan Thomas and who won seven races, mostly at 1m4f including the Group 1 Coronation Cup at Epsom.
Her dam, Ixora, won six races over hurdles and fences with a peak Official Racing of 133. Ixora won at Cheltenham’s October meeting and was seventh to Quevega in a Mares’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Her two previous foals, Jante Law and Pixie Loc, are both winners.
Ixora is by Milan out of Tucacas, who ran at the Cheltenham Festival twice, winning ten races with a peak Official Rating of 140. Milan’s roll of honour includes Jezki, Santini, One For Arthur and Monalee.
CTD manages 20 shares at 3.75% each on a lease basis, with her owner retaining 25%. She remains the property of her breeder, to whom she will return when she retires from racing.

Faustinovick is an nine-year-old staying handicap chaser by Black Sam Bellamy. ‘Victor’ stays three miles and goes on most ground. He is campaigned through the winter season.
He’s a big, strong chasing type and his jumping is normally his best asset. He’s very laid back in his stable and well known to the yard, having been with the Tizzard’s since 2019. Faustinovick was a winner at Chepstow on his seasonal reappearance when use of a more front-running ride suited well.
Victor began his career in Irish point-to-points, where he was second to Andy Defresne, who went on to win at graded level and was second at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival. He finished behind high-class horses such as McFabulous and Severano in his bumper and novice hurdles.
His sire, Black Sam Bellamy, was a Group 1 winner on the flat and a full-brother to Galileo. His best progeny includes The Giant Bolster, Sam Spinner and Sam Brown, all of whom appreciated soft ground and three miles. Cormorant Cove, Faustinovick’s unraced dam, is by Fair Mix, best known as the sire of Simonsig.
Victor has been bought by the syndicate. He will race until he is most likely rehomed as a riding horse.
